Some regular sessions in Sonoma County, CA (just north of San Francisco):
Second Sunday of the Month, 4-p.m. Scots/Irish tune session at North Light Books, Cotati Third Thursday of the month, Irish tune session at The Rose Pub, Santa Rosa. (My band's playing there Oct. 12)
Sorry, not much shanty singing in the North Bay. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to hook up on your way through the area (it'll be harvest time in the wine country).
