Jeep...please do keep up posted on Cody. I've got 3 corgis that sound a lot like Kat's McNabs in that they are anticipatory to a fault, follow me everywhere, love action, and need to have something-to-do! I agree with the no chain approach, but understand the difficulties. Buying these expensive corgis was cheap compared to the money we put into fencing once we had them. First fenced the entire 5 acres, then had to cross fence so they couldnt come in contact with a bad neighbor dog. The big payoff is that they do exercise themselves a lot and can do a lot of fiddling around without getting into any real trouble.

The only thing I disagree with in your post is your priorities. Much as I love music, I'd shut my mouth and sell my Martin before I'd give up even one of these dogs.
