Subject: RE: BS: Would Gore Do Things Differently? PART 2
Bobert , if you are lookin at me, no need to sell me on the Green Party. I am for any third party that can get on the ballot and offer a common-sense alternative . I don't agree with everything the green party puts out, and frankly, I don't disagree with all of the Republicans or Democrats. Many of them mean well, and some have done some pretty good things. But after living thru 10 or 11 presidents, I just don't see the difference anymore. I like the Green Party and hope they are able to get on the ballot again. I have no qualms about taking votes away from either of the biggies because I'm making my own statement and if it splits the vote, so be it. In the last election , Nader could not even get on the ballot in 7 or 8 states although he campaigned in all 50. Thats how hard the powers that be make it to run. I think we need more access to Washington and that includes the parties that I abhor... Communist, socialist, etc. In fact, I.m not that thrilled about any group calling themselves a party. If they get a REASONABLE number of signatures, let them on the ballot . down with the plutocracy! I don't consider myself a pacifist, lefty or righty, tree hugger, union sympathizer or any other label ... I just believe in common sense and integrity and Nader seems to have more of it than anybody else in Washington. He was squeezed out of the debates because big business sponsors them and he was ignored by the media (big bus. again). If enough people keep making their statement and vote for an alternative maybe in 16 more years we really will have a choice. Man I'm ashamed of myself for this diatribe. sorry.
