The emphasis last year was on giving a present (or a little something included with the present) that reflects the Secret Santa's hometown or area, so it became something of a cultural exchange as well as a present exchange! For my part, I tucked in some postcards of what I thought was interesting about the part of the Philadelphia PA suburbs in which I live, with commentary on the back of the cards. I remember someone sending a T-shirt with a local-interest logo, and wasn't there someone else who sent interesting local stones to a Santee who collects them?
