Let us not be too cynical. After George and Tony have brought peace, prosperity, democracy, and Christian values to Iraq through "regime change", promoted energy conservation at home to forestall future oil conflicts, fostered a Kurdish state beloved by its neighbours, extended the hand of friendship to Iran, sternly reoriented Syria, and focussed like a laser beam on the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, simultaneously completing the dismantling of global terrorism, all through the combined harmonious will of the United Nations and many, many bombs, they will certainly get their Nobel Peace Prize.
