"Matthew Hopkins" is a song I always sing at my club at Samhain (or Halloween.) He was the notorious Witchfinder General who put to death
hundreds of innocent people for financial gain. A nasty piece of work. It is said that towards the end of his regime, folk were so angered that he was 'swum' himself.
