   Sparky Rucker did a version of this years ago. I don't have the liner notes in front of me but I would have to say that the song probably doesn't deal with John Wesley Harden.
   The lyrics themselves clue me that it isn't as the famous gunfighter was never in West Virginia. The rucker collection is of African-American folk music. I do have different lyrics to this song and the West Virginia reference is common to all the versions I have seen Kindest regards, Neil
