You are cordially invited to participate in the Last Shanty Swap at the China Sea Marine Trading Co, 10 Dana St, in the heart of the Old Port, Portland, ME (207) 773-0081) on Saturday, November 23rd, gathering together at 4:00 PM and continuing until the propriators Capt. Bunker and Sharon kick us out. Members of Roll & Go will lead off with a few songs and then others may lead a song, request a song, or snore. This wonderful shop is chocker-block full of nautical antiques and oddities, straight out of the twilight zone. It's a great place to sit and sing sea music. And we'd like to know who is attending. Refreshments welcomed!

Now what's this with the "Last Shanty Swap"? Well Bunker and Sharon have to shift their business out of their current location in the Old Port at the end of the year, probably out of town but hopefully not too far away. Ideas about prospective locations would be welcome but at this point they would prefer to own the place rather than rent another building.

Anyway, other tenants in the building have already moved out and there will be even more space for us to gather and do what we love to do in the back of the store. Who's coming!
