Watch them and possibly have them off for short periods. I've heard they keep your real nails from breathing (since they are just skin, I think it's like gluing your skin, right?) I've also heard that anyone with circulation problems should not have them.

One of the first things we were taught to check in EMT classes were a person's fingernails to see if they were cyanotic. Since you've only had a couple done, there'd be no problem.*bg*
