I an looking for the lyrics to an old song my mother used to sing, containing this line:" you can bring pearl, she's a darn nice girl, but don't bring LuLu" another line is" LuLu's got the reddest hair, redder here and redder there". My mother was in the army and this may have been a service song. also a song containg this choris " went down to the river, but the river was dry, honey..went down to the river but the river was dry, babe"...then something about "gettin a line , gettin a pole" for fishing.
