Thread Name: Old Brits Pls Help on Music Hall Song
Subject: Old Brits Pls Help on Music Hall Song
Calling all old, wise, and learned folks from the British Isles, that can remember Elglish Music Hall or Vaudeville from the 1920's and 1930's.

Oh great and wise elders....

I beg your assistance in finding out more about a song that a friend's father learned while at Oxford in the 1930's named "Foolin' Around". She knows the words and music by heart, but nothing more about it. We are trying to find out it's history, author, if it was ever published, who/where it was performed, etc. The words can be found in this thread:

Lyrics Add: Foolin' Around

It is not the Jazz song by Isham Jones, or the Country and Western Song of the 1950's.

Thanks for your help.
