Well hey Shields Folk! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a cat that like potato crisps. One of ours will steal them out of your mouth and also likes green olives and ANY leftovers. The other one will only eat cat food.

The way to get cats your cats to switch is to give them 'only' the new food. They might, themselves, choose to go without for a day or two, but you needn't feel guilty if you are providing them with a good diet. Another way is to get a dog. The dog will eat anything that you give the cats, so the cats get in the habit of eating what you give them before the dog can get to it. Of course then they will also eat the dog food which is not too good for them, so we used to have to supplement their food with high protein stuff like canned fish.
