Subject: RE: BS: Cat Food
When they were younger they would eat anything that didn't move faster than they did. But I found that certain things such as milk and offal (liver kidney etc), disagreed with their digestive systems. A few years ago we were given some free samples of pouches, after that panther became more fussy and decided that she didn't like the type of cat chow that was all mushed into one solid lump but liked the stuff that had small pieces in jelly or gravy, which since she was then about 14/15 we decided if that was what she wanted , that was what she could have. I'm now down to one cat, we lost panther back in September but 18 &1/2 is quite old for a cat so it wasn't entirely unexpected. I'm just dreading it when Tom goes - he's 16 & 1/2 , he was one of Panther's kittens. At the moment he's still very active, independant and will eat anything not nailed down or moves slowly enough for him to catch. I just wish he'd stop leaving his "catch " on the doorstep.
