Brett arrived before Mary and I did, and he took a seat for the evening next to the door, where they line up all the armchairs. Unfortunately, those chairs are not comfortable for Mary and me (and it's tough to play guitar in one of those chairs!) so we had to sit on the armless chairs at the opposite end of the room. Sorry, Brett, we didn't mean to leave you all alone over there!

I missed hearing Brett's first song, but caught his second one. What a strong voice! Brett, you made a great contribution to the evening's fun, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having you. Come back again sometime if you can!
