Yes...Yes...Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, Friday, May 28, 1999 marks a milestone in the journey through this life for me. Today I was able to realize that long standing dream of whistling a few notes by blowing up a possum's ass!!! Cigars all around!!!

Barbara, you are a true artist and I have no way of thanking you enough for making me the proud Daddy of a 3 hole possum's ass whistle. He arrived undamaged thanks to your excellent packaging and between blows is occupying a center shelf position in our best china cabinet. I will be tweaking him a bit as you suggested, but if the boy only played one note in his life, he would be one of our most prized possessions. Karen is making a case for him and she too is proud to have such a one-off piece in our collection. Rosewood kazoos my ass...eat your heart out Rick.

This weekend we are going to be at Connie and Wayne's with the camper (camping in the backyard...all the kids love it and it's about as much as I can do right now). We're going to take a few pictures for Bill D.'s "Mudcat Album" and of course Podunk the Possum will be one.
