Thread Name: What about a Mudcat festival
Subject: RE: What about a Mudcat festival
I was once in California showing a few locals a coffee table book of pix of Australia-I always travel with one . After we were through a woman piped up- "Australia" "Australia", "I always wanted to go there- Tell me, Is it anywhere near Texas?" Well anyway- Colorado is only halfway if you are somewhere between say Tokyo and um Paris- or Istanbul and Uulan Baator or Easter Island and Rejkavik.
Isuppose it is about halfway from Sydney if you travel in either direction.
I have nothing personal about Nova Scotia but how about somewhere warm- Tahiti- Costa Rica, Cairns, The Seychelles, Las Canarias?
We gotta do it though and as Skipper Jack says how many Mudcatters can really play. and Senor EBarnacle, my flying fifteen might be a little bit wet- how about dropping by Dangar Island and picking me up on your way through?
