When Charley lead Dead Dog Cider the rest of us have lots of time between choruses to ad lib as best we can. The dog is Charley's and it was his idea to have us do some of the other things we do. We added a few others on our own.

E.G., when Bendigo falls into the cider vat the stuffed bendigo hits the stage. When Bendigo floats to the surfave in the cider vat from which everyone is drinking we have the opportunity to pantomime the crowd's reactions. And when he sings the line about "hair of the dog" I believe that is the perfect time to pantomime extracting a hair from my mouth. Add to that his line about calling for Dead Dog Cider in a pub. He wanted me to call for it as he sang the line. I inadvertantly added the word "please" but he didn't like that. Now the ad libs run as follows:
Me: Dead Dog Cider!
Nor: Please!
Dick: Thanks!
Nor: My pleasure!
Me: Good Though!
Trust me, it's Charley's fault. He started it.
