Well! At last! Thanks to Charley I can finally access the Mudcat. I've been having a tough time getting in this week. Plus the admiral was visiting which was a bit of a pain in the tush and took up way too much of my time.

I enjoyed the evening, lots of great music and good friends, good drinks, and great stories from Capt Bunker. We need to get that guy to start singing but he had a good excuse. He and Sharon have been working very hard trying to make the store a success. Now they have to move... Life ain't fair.

As far as the "loo" in the basement, I'd be curious to know what has encrusted the sink so badly that its function has to be guessed at. I've seen some dirty fixtures in my day but that one takes the cake. I'm guessing the new owners of the building will have to hire a HazMat company to remove it. No wonder the women were willing to walk upstairs to use the other bathroom.

Brian has always taped at the sessions we've sung at. I never gave it any thought. The ettiquette at folk festivals is that taping is allowed at workshops but not at concerts. I think what we've been doing can easily be considered more of a workshop than a concert.
