"Fox on the Run" was THE bluegrass hit of the 70s and 80s. Bands got requests for it so many times it ended up on the all-time hate list for a lot of musicians. Oddly enough it was originally a rock song done by the band "Manfred Mann", but later became a signature tune for my favourite Bluegrass Band, "The Seldom Scene". The lyrics seem pretty dumb to me but the tune was irresistable. It hasn't been done much in the last 10 years, so it's fresh as a daisy now. Sing Kat, Sing!
