Hi, Wilfried - the way I've heard it sung, the various sounds of the various instruments are sung all at the same time, but the first part is sung in unison.

Thanks for offering to send your CD (Gets on Everybody's Nerves), Seamus, but I bought it at your concert in the Sacramento area last year. I do a lot of singing for kids, so I had to see what songs I could steal from you. It's a fine album.
