I'm in Baulkham Hills..... loads of smoke in the air but no fires close... weekend before last my music club had a party at one of our members houses at Glenorie (one of the really badly hit places).... we haven't heard from them since Friday... but we're hoping they are safe.......

last year on the way back from Nariel Creek we could see the smoke hanging in the sky over sydney from as far away as Goulburn (maybe 200km)....
