1958! Well, that's brilliant. It dates a whole chapter I'm writing. I'm still intrigued by the fact that, apart from anything Tony Hancock did, a 14/15 year old boy who couldn't play an instrument was so engaged in the life story of a songwriter that the memory is still there when he's 59 and has been a songwriter for 40 years.
