I thought it was about the birth of Jesus. They got Easter for the death..
Cheer up, pal. It's supposed to be a happy time. And it belongs to everyone, especially the kids (and others) who believe in Santa. Whatever the "reason for the season" (Christ's birthday, Winter's Turning, Feast of Oomsloppogas) it's a long long tradition, still going on and thriving today. Don't let the commercialism get to you, just have a Merry Christmas.
