Obit: Christmas???

It won't happen my friend. There's too much at stake. Christmas is and has been, for some time now, the stuff of legend, those things that have endured and will continue to do so.

We, however, will not.

Though, there have been some very impressive breakthroughs of late that seem to indicate the possibility of longer lifespans for those who can afford the cure, but I doubt it will ever be within the reach of the average planetary inhabitant.

The eternal struggle of the haves and the don't gots. That's what this season is all about. That's what life on the planet is all about. The great balancing act, of giving to those in need, is always upon us. You can see it everywhere, even here, right now.

So, cheer up brother! Get beyond the conflict within. Find someone else on the planet who has less than you, less friends, less money, less time, less energy, whatever, and do your part to rebalance things. Even if it's only a perceived by you or others as a very small part. Every little movement toward harmony is a positive and healthy endeavor. The changes you create via this sort of activity reshape the future of life on the planet. It's everyone's task to do the same.
