Here's how I used to play this song in the 70's, with Toronto folkies Rick Speyer, Ron (Mr.Metronome)Sherwin, and Al "Captain" Brady --aka "Ditch Diggers & the Driller" .

This is a simplified version, you can add other chords, but this sounds good as it is!
I chorded this in key of G. I'm not sure what key Hoyt did it in, my record player ain't currently hooked up...
