Or the other who knows how many Iraqi troops. And the thousands of civilians . . ., well it's just all a part of war! And, hey--war is always good for the economy!" (I won't mention the name of the well-known comedian who said the above as a satirical/ironic comment a few months after the "Desert Storm" event changed to--what was it?--Desert Shield? The people in the audience actually laughed, not getting the "joke," as did the well known politician it was directed to.) They may have all forgotten, but I have not. Oh--the numbers? They were the numbers given out in an official televised military briefing for the press.
