I suppose it's whether you are into bathing as comfort and bathing as cleansing. I suppose if you're primarily geared to cleansing showering might seem a more efficient and speedy way of doing it.

I don't think gender has much to do with it. Temperament has. And of course, what you are used to. We've never had a shower in any home I've lived in. Most times in a hotel, I find when I open the bathroom it's a shower, and I curse.
