Thread Name: BS: Bath Vs Shower, a gender thing?
Subject: RE: BS: Bath Vs Shower, a gender thing?
When I was in the UK and Europe a couple of years ago, I found that it was a lot harder to get a decent shower because a lot of the shower heads were not fixed and if you tried to sit them up there they sagged and wouldn't point the right way, and the water pressure wasn't as good as what I am used to in Sydney. I'm lucky here because we have gas hot water, which is plentiful, the pressure is good, and my bath, when I feel like a soak, is old fashioned and deep (I hate those new short, shallow ones).

I like my shower hot, except when it is really hot weather - which we do get a lot of here. I also prefer to wash my hair in the shower,as well as brush my teeth and shave my legs.

I would have a bath more often in winter than in summer, and when I do, I have essential oils, candles, the whole bit, and I keep adding more hot water as I need it, and my fingers do get prune-like for a while - but who cares. I must admit I do feel super clean after a long soak.
