Hey Gary. Though I'm not a ful WpgFF head, I have attended fairly regularly over the years, (even got to perform once), so I can tell ya what I know, though I'm sure there's other who will have a great deal more to offer, so stay tuned.

The site out at Bird's Hill Park is fantasic. They've actually done quite a bit of work in the last year or so for drainage after some wet weekends.

Basically the day is spent walking around taking in a number of workshop or concert type stages. The evenings are at the big main stage; you'll have to check for times for the "tarp" run, when you're allowed to stake a spot for the evening concerts. The festival's web site and printed info will tell you all you need to know.

In terms of jamming, most of that takes place in the camp ground, or so I'm told. there are two camp grounds; the quiet one and the other one, where the music goes well into the night. There is a kind of "busking" stage set up during the day which you could sign up for I believe.

Hope you have a blast. sb
