Cheers John, It's my favourite too! (Although one shouldn't have a favourite child). I used four of the songs in the musical play "Go and play up your own end" script by Malcolm Stent, music and songs by me. It's about a Brummie childhood and the street of neighbours in 1950's England. It's certainly hit a chord somewhere because it's going on at the Alexandra theatre in Birmingham in March which will mean it will have played all the theatres in Birmingham, Britains second city, in a space of four years.I understand that no other production in theatre history has done this before.
You should get to see it, it's funny and sad and the people tell us it's got that wonderful ingredient that comes from who knows where..."woofle dust".
