No. I meant clean it with a solution of minimum 80% alcohol (such as isopropyl alcohol) and bandage it. Of course, this is only for minor cuts. Those which are deep, are caused by a (possibly) contaminated tool or object, are subsequently contaminated, or cannot be closed, should be taken care of by a med. If you haven't had a tetnis (sp ?) shot in the past five years, one should be had. DON'T LEAVE medical care for at least fifteen minutes after the shot. I think it was fifteen ??

In my case, the slice was relatively deep in the flesh, such that bleeding resumed as soon as pressure was released, even some eight hours after the wounding, with a drywall knife, on the last cut of a two week basement renovation. Haste makes waste... and hurts like heck.
