As has been said just jump in the water is not deep. We have fun in there sometimes we can be serious but usually just daft.
It can take some getting used to but persevere and you will soon become adept at sorting the messages into some sense ( if there is any sense to be found that is) and then you can truly join in with confidence.
Some of us in there actually know each other in the flesh so to speak but we will happilly insult both those we know and those we don't.You can often meet other catters at festivals around the country many of us have badges with our names on, if you are there and see a badge talk to the person that way you will soon know hundreds more people.
