Subject: John Kirkpatrick
Just had to tell you all - JK was at the Bothy FC (Southport, Lancs) last night. I'd forgotten just HOW brilliant he is! We all know he's THE squeeze box player AND and a brilliant singer AND a top bloke AND does all that dance band stuff AND the Band of Hope AND......

BUT (sorry about all these capitals - can somone tell me how to do bold?) what about him as a song writer?   He sang 'Old King Coal' which has to be one of the best songs ever written (now there's a thread!) and followed it with the one about love in a laundrette and 'Sid and Belinda'.   Absolutely tremendous stuff!

How can one man have so much talent?
