Jeezus, excuse the awkward heading, but this one has me stumped and I thought I'd throw it out to the good folks at Mudcat.

Before he passed away in September of last year Tom Docherty (father of Mudcatters Mcknees, and Duckboots) bought a big 'buggy'. I don't know what else to call it, cuz I haven't really seen one around here (Canada)

After a lifetime of driving, he wasn't very pleased to have to give up his licence, and apparently he went out and bought the "super-deluxe-bells and whistles" four wheeled scooter.

Well....he only rode in it once, and the story, as Linda (Mcknees) tells it was hilarious. He chugged from the Senior's Centre to the Town Centre Mall in East Kilbride. After doing some shopping and getting ready to go, he was accosted by security, accusing him of trying to steal Mall property!!! Apparently he didn't have all the ownership stuff handy, so the cops IMPOUNDED his new buggy! He then went to the Post office to telephone the Buggy dealership, to sort things out,........and fainted!! (probably from stress)

After a check-up at the Hospital, he went to the police station to get his buggy, but by then it was getting late, and the only way to get it back to the Senior's Centre was to ride it. He called Linda (also a cop) and while he putted along the sidewalk, she drove beside him at 10 miles an hour! Must have made a fascinating parade.

Sadly Tom did not get to have any more adventures on his buggy, and Linda has been looking for a way to sell it for several months now, with no luck.

I figured that it wouldn't be difficult....it only has about five miles on it and seems to be deluxe and in perfect shape. If it were around here. I'd go to Sunnybrook Hospital and put up some signs in the senior care area......but it's in Glasgow.

Sooooo....does ANYONE know where she might go to find a potential buyer for this thing? Are there magazines for seniors (there are tons of them here) where you can put an add in for this type of thing?

It's an Electric Mobility "Rascal 329 LE" four wheeled scooter. It apparently even has a roof!

Anyone know which direction to steer Mcknees?

Cheers and thanks.
