I just found a way to tie this silly thread into folk music! For years, my friend, the late John Dwyer (Father of Silly River Sage) hated smoking and smokers. I well remember back in the 60's, when it was NOT a populiar thing to do, Jown would glare at someone smoking at a hoot and sing: "TOBACCO'S BUT AN INDIAN WEED!" I also well remember a poster he had in his living room, featuring a woman 'too ungly to be true', with a cigarette dangling from her mouth, with this phrase below: "SMOKING MAKES YOU GLAMOROUS!"
