Seamus: I'm sure if you contact Chris Jeager (see my message above) he'll sort it out. In the UK if you perform somebody's song in a venue that issues PRS (Performing Right Society) forms you just fill in the details, they send it to PRS and eventually PRS send a cheque for the accumulated royalties to the writer.

What happens if you're in Alaska, though, is anybody's guess.
