For anyone who has been reading and enjoying this conversation, as I have been, I want to update the information about Gene Shay's radio show in Philadelphia.   Currently, his show appears on WXPN-FM (88.5 FM in Philly), the member-supported station at the University of Pennsylvania, on Sundays from 4pm to 8pm Eastern Time. I, too, remember hearing the Joni Mitchell recording of "Urge for Going" on Philadelphia radio. As I remember, it was recorded live, but I don't remember ever hearing where she had been singing when the recording was made. I do remember hearing background noise and conversation, though, and I think there was a spoken introduction to the song on the recording as well. Am I remembering this correctly? (...Perhaps I'm remembering a different Joni recording than others on this thread are talking about!)
