I sing folk & male voice choir (not too well but I make the effort...
I am alive, healthy, reasonably fit and not too fat...
My job is reasonably secure, safe, clean and reasonably well-paid - and when I try I can do it well...
All the stuff in my house works...
My car keeps going...
I have enough to eat and drink....
My bank balance is not in the red...
The bills are paid...
My stress level is well under control (for a teacher), and I'm cool calm and collected...
My 2 kids aren't yobs /vandals/ don't do drugs
My wife doesn't do any chores, nor contribute financially, but that's fine, I cope, no complaints...(she had a stroke a few years ago)
I look in the garden and see the snowdrops, crocuses, & soon the daffodils, and the trees are in bud...
I cn walk in the local countryside & enjoy a pint & a pub lunch...
The morning was frosty, still and bright, almost magical...
I do some work in the community, when many decline, and I think how great it is to be able to make a contribution to the quality of local life...
Life really is fine...
