Great threads...there is so much good news out there. Just because the media ignores it doesn't mean we have to.

Even on the worst days, I am consciously grateful for all that I have, a home in the country that I love, 3 great canine companions and a raft of friends, both local, distant and Mudcat that I cherish, the ability to make music in my own, limited way and the appreciation of an unlimited array of musical talent (Big Mick...love your energetic HUH! on the Plum CD...makes me feel energetic myself every time I here it). The real world never fails to amaze, amuse and delight me and I feel eternally grateful to live away from cities, and less than an hour away from the ocean--just knowing it is within reach eases anxiety.

C-flat...good luck with the car...it's hard for me to feel grateful when something goes wrong with vehicle or computer!

And Jerry, thanks a lot for this thread, sparking the opportunity for us all to smile and be thankful. A welcome relief from the dire news of the day.
