That particular bulb of garlic, which my friend had purchased at Common Ground Fair, was destined to be planted in my garden. (Well, OF COURSE, I'd have a garlic bulb in my purse!)

Almost forgot about Napoleon, usually referred to as "Kitten Kat". He'd lie between my naked breasts in bed (is this too much information for anybody? I was 80 lbs. younger then) while I was eating chunks of pineapple with a fork. Well, if I was lucky, I'd eat them. Mostly he'd snag them off the fork and eat them first. It was a game to see which of us could get our mouth around the pineapple chunk first. (He wasn't with us long, alas. He committed suicide by pulling the iron off the ironing board onto his head. Guess who had NEVER left the iron sitting on the ironing board again even if the cord is neatly wrapped around it.)
