Allan, so... what line of work are you in? (grin)

Reading this thread has been a revelaiton for me. For example, who ever would have guessed that I'd get all choked up and misty by reading the words of anybody who calls himself "Big Mick?" Mick, you are soooo right. Yes, it's great that we get to know each others' hearts and souls first, and yes, I thoroughly agree on your scenario of what it would be like to meet (a quick hug, followed by lots and lots of singing).

I recently met the delightfully effervescent annap, but it was a "business" lunch, so we couldn't just break out the instruments and be true to ourselves, so we kept it subdued, ate some take-out MSG and stared at the sights of the South Street Seaport. Still one of the better lunches I've had, if you ask me.

Mary, if we were to meet, I think I'd like to start with some sea shanties, because they give such a strong sense of comeraderie and jubilation -- which is how I feel about you (well, most of you anyway).
