I don't know about what's in these trails, or whether or not they are dangerous, but I do know I hate seeing the sky crisscrossed with them. The sky used to be the one place to look for an absence of man's intervention (outside of LA smog, that is). As a lover of the natural world, and a photographer, I'm sick of seeing these most UNnatural patterns in the sky above my head.
