Well...

I just rescued me a cat! She's very timid, shy, nervous, shaking in her boots. She's petrified. We've left her contained to 2 rooms, with a litter tray, food, water, scratch post and a new bed.

The main thing is the kids where she was pulled her around alot. And well - at the moment she doesn't trust us completely - I'm sure she expects us to do the same.

Though this morning she licked my big toe - and prrrrped at me a hello.

We think she's maybe a cross tabby, with either a siamese - or another oriental type cat. She's very graceful, has that ridge of fur down her back that sticks up when she's greeting us.

She hasn't eaten much yet with us, and will only eat when we are out - doesn't trust us to eat near us yet.

She's got ear mites, not been vaccinated and probably got fleas - but she's so cute, ladylike, and actually very loving if we go and sit in her hiding hole with her. Came home the other night to see her sitting in the window waiting for us. Which was lovely! Each day she's getting bolder - a trip to the vets soon as she is calmed down enough to make another journey.

She also doesnt know how to play, I jiggled a toy mouse infront of her this am, and she tapped it once and then ran off and hid behind the sofa.

We're going to have to be patient with this one!
