DG. I have a project for you: go to your mirror and look deeply into your eyes (If you see other eyes glaring back at you, ignore them. For the moment.); now ask your self what it is it is doing wrong. Say something like, "Self, you have made yourself a royal pain in the arse, just by being you. I now refuse to be the YOU that you have made me. From this moment I resolve to love life, love people, love music- and let it be enough. 'You' can go on without me, there are plenty of you out there. I propose to enjoy life."

Are you familiar with the Biblical exhortation to not cast your pearls before swine? It also says that 'if the people heed not your words, shake the dust of that place off your feet and leave them.'

I think you have done your duty- if we don't see your way, we're not going to- and that is our right. You have done your bit.
