Interesting that Islam is described as a non European religion. If you describe people's religion in terms of which tradition people grew up in (however nominally), Christianity would be the main religion of the British Isles. However, if you measure it in terms of attendance at worship, Islam is the main British religion - and has been for many years. It would not surprise me if the same was true of France.
