I too am exploiting my prestige as a musician for political purposes. I've been busking with a poster in my case informing people about upcoming anti-war demos. As long as people are peeking into my case anyway...

Seriously though, we all have to stand up for peace (or stand up for war, I suppose, if you really must) where we are and with what we have. I don't think that celebrities have any more special insight than the rest of us, but they do have a tool that most of us don't have. If they want to use that tool for what they believe in, more power to them.
