I've heard transplants from several other shanties used:
"Up aloft this yard must go.....Mr. Maitland told us so"
"Rock and shake 'er, one more drag...Oh bend your duds and pack your bag"

As Stan Hugill quoted: "..improvisation was the thing"

By the way, Drunken Sailor was a stamp and go shanty,
largely used for raising sail on a ship with a large crew.
It's a lengthier job.
