I smile at a HUGE number of things. It's simply my style. Over the almost five years I've been on Mudcat, and throughout the literally hundreds of thousands of words I've written (the vast majority on technical help for musicians) two things emerge like great big elephants....I laugh my fool head off when pompous public idiots get caught with their pants down (literally and figuratively) and guess what? I distinctly said "Newt" and made no other mention of the probably millions of gay, trans-gendered, bi-sexual, and simply confused Repubs out there. By the way, I laughed just as hard when Clinton was explaining the difference between "is" and "is". So, I hope you understand that I'm an "equal opportunity" smiler.

I take my opinions reasonably seriously, because I've observed, read, and refused to embrace ANY ideology for most of my life......but often, all I can do is laugh. Sometimes it simply beats gettin' so mad that the day is spoiled!
