"Two Brothers"--popular during the American Civil War Centennial. I have two cousins who are brothers, one born in Chicago and the other in Atlanta, and our grandfather was a Civil War historian, so we literally grew up in the middle of the Civil War. They used to make me sing it for them every time they saw me, which was pretty often, as we all lived within a few miles of each other. It's amazing how hokey and melodramatic it sounds to me now, when we used to think it was so beautiful and touching-- but, hey, I was 14, and they were 8 and 10.
