M.Ted you have both my sympathy and grudging admiration. I never learned that particluar Joh Denver abortion and I am baffled myself as to why I have such a pathological loathing of it. It is something about the smugness of an audience which wants to kid itself it is actually feeling something... I don't know. I obviously need therapy to get over this. I simply do not learn songs which I hate that much. I have never been so poor that I couldn't say no to an audience. If I could vomit and sing at the same time it might be different. You must be a bit tougher than me!
